Does anyone actually have experiance/w this Huh
Was told that Micro-ATX form mobo will fit my case...
Have T-6528 E-machine/w 939 socket mobo...have located
suitable AM2 socket micro-ATX form mobo...
have not had time to check dimentions(not all micro-ATX
mobo's are same dimentions)
feal this to be critical step...mobo + CPU = $189.00
replacement from E-machine $159.00 but is usless as same
socket...new mobo/CPU combo changes entire machine to
serve purpose intended...alternative...start from scratch.
Has anyone out there done this to an E-machine befor ??
highest level(sensible)upgrade available for CPU..$176.00
Opteron 180. Actual highest upgrade..Opteron 185 is
$280.00, and for a jump from 2.4 ghs to 2.6 ghs thats
not worth the extra $100.00...these are the socket 939
upgrades, then you dead end...AM2 socket open a whole new world...but has anyone out there actually done this Huh?
